Next Chapter - Phone Call Advice to the Copycat

A Daily Days journalist delivers a report on SAMPLE, a religious cult which they find 'incomprehensible.' The journalist reports that SAMPLE members worship pain as their God, that they try to extricate pain from their own bodies, and that they honestly seem to feel no pain as a result. The journalist observes that even though SAMPLE is a cult, SAMPLE believers can have multiple faiths simultaneously; the forty-second leader claimed to believe in seventy-three religions total.

The group's motto seems to be "follow your desires," and the journalist concludes that SAMPLE believers may equate God with humanity rather than something like pain.
