Hiroko struggles to come to grips with the terrorist threats and the sight of the lifeboats exploding. She received a call from Misao, who is as panicked as she is. The two yell over each other in an attempt to convey the events on their respective boats. Misao insists she get away from her boat immediately, screaming about monsters who've taken over his ship. The call picks up the sound of SAMPLE's ritual chants broadcast over the speakers. Misao tells Hiroko that the hijackers intend for the ships to collide by tomorrow evening. While pleading with her to get away, he starts yelling at unidentified people near him, and he is cut off. Hiroko's wails are only met with SAMPLE's chanting.
