Next Chapter - Chapter 2: The Investigators Have No Rest
In 1935, after abandoning their lives as thieves, Isaac and Miria discover they have no money. They decide to find honest employment despite their lack of experience.
Later that night, at one of the Martillo Family’s underground casinos, Luck Gandor congratulates Firo Prochainezo on his release from Alcatraz. Luck notices the casino's newly installed Liberty Bells. As Firo is explaining how the slot machines work, he seizes a man cheating at the blackjack table. Firo strikes the man unconscious and offers the other patrons liquor for the disturbance, as well as refunds to anyone who was a victim of the cheater.
Once they return to the office, Luck asks Firo about his time in Alcatraz, pointing out that he is no longer acting like himself. Usually, Firo would have sent someone else to deal with the cheater, instead of handling the problem personally. Firo reluctantly begins explaining the events of 1934. As he scans the casino, he catches sight of Neider Schasschule.
